Lara (she/her) is a product manager for the Applied Social Media Lab’s discourse pod. She’s working on tools that address barriers to discourse around trust, digital identity, privacy, and algorithmic literacy. Prior to joining the ASML, she worked at Google as an Associate Product Manager, first on YouTube TV, then on anti-abuse, fighting scaled abuse of Google products and users. Before that, she studied computer science at Yale University, and developed free, nonprofit prison communications tools as a founding team member of Ameelio. She’s based in Brooklyn, NY.
