Casey is a PhD student at Northeastern studying systems of social influence and their impact on civic discourse and democratic participation, especially towards climate change. Her work with ASML focuses on exploring technical solutions that enable everyone to facilitate constructive discourse. Prior to graduate school, Casey worked as a designer and software engineer, spending her free time conducting independent research on climate attitudes and political engagement in Portland, Maine and advocating for climate legislation.
